What is Cosmetology?

Cosmetology is the study of hair, skin and nails or a hair and beauty education.

Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology requirements in the basic fundamentals of cosmetology supplement the curriculum and are taught from the recognized Salon Fundamentals Textbooks. Classes are delivered in structured Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior and Senior stages. Junior and Senior students regularly practice and perfect their skills in our Plaza Student Salon where services are offered to the public under licensed educator supervision. Matrix, ISO and Scruples representatives, as well as many local artists and other company representatives, frequently conduct classes and demonstrations to keep students well informed of new styles, colors, perms and cuts.
